Αηδόνια (Τμήμα Γ)

Niches

The two typologies of niches, used to store material and to adorn the interiors, are used in most of the houses. The difference is in the superior part, covered by an arch or a lintel. They conserve two or three levels of shelves. Traces of plaster in the interior of them, more protected than the stonework from the rainfall once the roofs had collapsed, bring to the conclusion that the entire interiors were plastered.
