Overall image of the settlement - relation to the landscape

The village is leased on the northern slope of an high ground, traversed by the road which is connecting it to the main suburb, Ormos Korfiu. Below the dwellings takes place plantation of olive trees and above them the terracing used to conform the altitude profile to those who were  the basic agricultural needs are still preserved and perfectly readable. In the upper part of the slope, where the ground is gradually becoming more barren, the inhabitants located the plot of land where to graze the cattle and higher again the land remains unused reaching the crest.
Most of the buildings in the area we focused about are orientated along the N-S direction, according to the ground guidance.
